EMX125 European Championship Round 6 – Trentino – 23.10.2021

Excellent performance of Alexis Fueri at the Trentino GP

The first of the three GP went down at the Ciclamino track of Arco di Trento. The Fantic Factory Team Maddii was represented by young French rider Alexis Fueri.

Alexis immediately found a good feeling riding on the hard pack ground of the Italian track and he was able to set excellent times in the free practice session. Fueri was fifth in the qualify, so he could start from a very good position on the starting grid.

The first part of race1 was really good for Alexis, who reached the top ten after the first corner. The French rider set a solid race pace and moved up the standings till reaching the eighth spot. After slightly slipping Fueri lost some positions but did not give up and instead worked his way up till winning back the eighth place.

Fueri starred in the second moto as well; after an excellent start, he pulled away and reached the front. The solid performance of the French rider together with a flawless riding style rewarded him with a good seventh position.

The two solid results of the day secured Alexis Fueri sixth place overall. In a few days, the Fantic Factory Team Maddii will be back on track to dispute the second GP of Arco di Trento where both the 125cc and the 250cc categories will have their riders lined up to dispute the European Championship.

Marco Maddii commented on the race: “Today was an excellent day for Alexis, who was sixth overall.

Actually, he could have reached the top five if it wasn’t for that mistake in race1. His improvement is solid and constant, so we’ll try to make him enter the top five in the next two races scheduled here in Arco di Trento”.
